Havkat 31

The Havkat 31 is a fast cruising catamaran for the experienced catamaran sailor. She is in fact a scaled down version of the Havkat 35, which won the Yachting Worlds design competition 1985.

The Havkat 31 has a tall rig, she is meant to be sailed with mainsail and self tacking jib in normal winds, so she is very easy to handle for only by 2 persons. For racing a genoa and spinnaker is added.

The main feature of the Havkat 31 is her big centercockpit, which with the canopy converts to a big saloon with seating for 8 and entrances to both hulls indoors.

The accommodation in the hulls have:
A double berth aft in each hull, a dressing/reading area with seat, table and lockers, a very large galley and a cabin, a navigators berth, chartable, a separate head with sink and shower and a large sail locker.
